Our Dog Daycare Service

At Welly Dogs, we provide a structured, training-based daycare where dogs can truly thrive. Our focus is on creating a calm, safe environment where every dog learns, engages, and develops in a meaningful way.

We set clear rules, boundaries, and expectations of behaviour to ensure that dogs engage in interactions and activities that are safe, beneficial, and enriching, while still being fun. Each day strikes a balance between following direction, which strengthens their mental state, and free time where they can socialise and enjoy themselves within a managed pack.

This balance helps dogs build confidence, develop self-control, and learn how to be part of a calm, respectful group. By combining structure with enrichment, we make sure that dogs leave Welly Dogs not only exercised, but fulfilled and better for the experience.

Our Location and Service Area

Welly Dogs is based in Judgeford, Wellington. We operate Monday to Friday and service most Wellington suburbs from Strathmore through to Whitby, excluding the Hutt Valley.

Our professionally built, purpose-designed yard sits on a 12 acre lifestyle block, nestled in a serene and peaceful setting, giving dogs the space and freedom to enjoy their day in a safe and structured environment.

For no extra cost, all Welly Dogs are picked up from and dropped back to their homes, making daycare simple and stress-free for owners. Please note that we do not offer client drop-offs to our property, as all transport is handled by our team.
